Cartridge/Element

Cleaning Service

Over time oil and dirt builds up in your Cartridge or DE filter and as the element clogs it reduces flow to your pool.  A simple hosing off does not thoroughly remove the debris that is embedded in the mesh.  Snyder Pools recommends all elements and cartridges be professionally cleaned at least once a season.

Cartridge cleaning includes a thorough wash and soak in our special acid cleaner here at our store.   We will perform a diagnostic check of all interior parts assuring an easier pool run. 

Please Note:  Heavily soiled cartridges may take more than one soak to accurately clean which could take up to 72 hours.   We sometimes have backup elements that you can run with but they may not be available at times.

Pool Cleaning

/Maintenance Contract

Spring Pool Clean Up:             
$110 per hour
                                        Minimum of 1 hour per visit

            This service is typically needed in the spring, once the pool cover is removed and the pool is open and running with shock and algaecide.  It may take multiple visits depending on severity of pool water quality and debris content.  A water sample will be brought back to the store for analysis.  The balancing chemicals will need to be purchased separately and we will add them to the pool.  Also included in this service is vacuuming of the pool, cleaning of the skimmer and pump baskets, backwashing filter and replenishing DE if necessary.  This process gets the pool ready for regular In-Season Cleaning Service.  Once pool is cleaned and balanced, you will be scheduled and charged for weekly/bi-weekly cleanings.

In Season Cleaning:                            
$90.00 per weekly visit     $100 per biweekly monthly visit

            This service is ordered for scheduled maintenance of pools throughout the summer.  This service is for pools that are balanced and already clean.  If not clean and clear, a Pool Clean-Up will be required prior to starting.  Visits include vacuuming the pool, water testing, chemical adjustments with chemicals purchased at our store, backwashing of filter, cleaning skimmer and pump baskets and wiping off waterline ring. 

Note:  We strongly recommend that Cartridge and De Filters be professionally cleaned by Snyder Pools at least once a season.  This service is available for $100.00.  We will remove element/grids, soak them, inspect interior parts and deliver them back and re-install them in your filter.  Please contact the pool store for more information.
